About

Complete courses, built by a teacher.

FEN Educational Resources makes digital courses that take a class from the first lesson to the final grade: the reading, the practice, the quizzes and tests, the projects, and the teacher's dashboard, all in one place.

What we make

Four courses, one idea.

Every FEN course is written by the person who teaches it, tested with real students, and rewritten when a class gets confused. Each one gives the teacher as much as the student: lesson plans, teaching notes, rubrics, grading and a dashboard that shows where the class is.

  • Personal Finance. A one semester high school course built around the documents students will actually sign: a pay stub, a W-4, a lease, a credit card statement. The course
  • Entrepreneurship. A project based grade 10 course: one real venture from a customer's problem to Pitch Day, with six Founder Files that become a business plan. The course
  • German Grammar and French Grammar. Grammar platforms from A1 to C1 that correct every answer and explain why. FEN Grammatik and FEN Grammaire
  • Textbooks. The Personal Finance course in print and as an e-book, in a Student Edition and a Teacher Edition. Our textbooks

The founder

Why a teacher built a platform.

Fatima-Ezzahrae Nsais was born in Morocco and came to teaching by way of language, education, and finance. Her graduate studies in English Linguistics, in Education, and in Business Administration with a focus on Finance shaped the way she builds a course: precise about words, careful about how people learn, and honest about money. She has taught in Germany and in the USA, in English, Business, Entrepreneurship, and French classrooms, including AP and dual-credit courses, and has advised a DECA chapter.

FEN started with the platforms she taught on. Each one did part of the job well and left gaps somewhere else: content without practice, practice without explanation, or tools that helped students but gave teachers nothing.

The gaps added up to an idea: build the platform myself, complete from the first lesson to the final grade, and make it support the teacher as much as the student.

Every lesson, quiz, and slide was tested with real students first. When something confused a class, it was rewritten. The courses are taught every week in accredited 9-12 schools in the USA.

How we work

Four things we hold to.

Complete, not a supplement

A FEN course is the whole semester: readings, practice, assessments, projects, a certificate, and the teacher's side. Nothing to assemble from three other tools.

The teacher is a user too

Lesson plans with minutes on every step, teaching notes, rubrics on screen, one click grading and a gradebook that copies into yours. If a feature helps students but not the teacher, it is half built.

Real documents, real numbers

Students read a real pay stub, price a real product, interview real customers. Figures are current and sourced, and we update them.

Plain language

Lessons are written for a fifteen year old to read without a dictionary, in short sentences, with the vocabulary taught where it is used. Translations and language support are built in for multilingual learners.
